Located in one of the most beautiful and flowery alleys of Spello (as well as the most photographed and award-winning at the “Windows, Balconies and Flowery Alleys” competition), this cozy refuge offers a unique experience of stay, surrounded by the beauty and history of our city.
The central location allows you to fully immerse yourself in the life of Spello, walking through the characteristic alleys, among the many centuries-old churches rich in frescoes and savoring the delicacies of our land, such as fine olive oil, local wines and traditional dishes in the characteristic restaurants of the center.

With its strategic position, Spello is the ideal starting point to explore the other gems of Umbria, such as Assisi, Gubbio, Spoleto, Perugia and all the other magnificent villages in the surrounding area. Whether you are a history buff, a nature lover or looking for genuine flavors, Spello will win you over with its authenticity and timeless charm.
The train station is easily reachable on foot (about 600m) allowing you to move from Spello without your own means.
For lovers of walking, it is also possible to reach Assisi on foot through the “Via degli ulivi”. As the name suggests, this path crosses the entire middle strip of Mount Subasio, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and allows you to reach Assisi in just over 2 hours through a truly evocative walk.

Take the time to visit the many churches and monuments of Spello, including the magnificent Church of Santa Maria Maggiore with its frescoes by Pinturicchio, the Church of San Lorenzo and the Villa of Mosaics.
Festivals and Cultural Events
Check if there are any events or festivals going on during your stay in Spello. The city hosts numerous cultural events, such as the famous “Infiorata” held every year on the occasion of Corpus Domini, during which the streets of the center are decorated with carpets of flowers.
Nature Excursions
Take advantage of the wonderful excursions on foot or by bike along the paths of Mount Subasio, which surrounds Spello, such as the path of the olive trees and the Roman aqueduct. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Umbrian countryside and visit evocative places such as the refuge of Monte Subasio and the Hermitage of the Prisons, where St. Francis retired in prayer.
